This week's post is the sunset that went with it, taken just a few miles away at one of my favorite BBQ places. The other is a cloud formation. I think darker clouds look like a side view of an angry face. (my wife thinks I'm nuts) but I still see it.

You posted interesting pictures in contrast here. The first augurs gloom without denying the glimpse of silver lining; the other is a perfect aura of calm and peaceful mood as depicted by the spray of the linear clouds hovering above the setting sun. Its reflection is perfectly embedded into the clouds perpendicular to the sun encompassing the serenity of the place. Calm repose of day, I should say.

Beautiful contrast in all.

The soft blend of the clouds and the sunset creates a sweet melliflous music in the sky as seen in this picture.

This is the Overview Park in Palacapao, Bukidnon. Situated along one of the many zigzag highways of Bukidnon Province, it is an interesting and invigorating stopover for weary and butt-hardened travellers. The eight-hectare park sits on top of a hill overlooking the municipalities of Bukidnon.

This park is a project of Department of Public Works and Highways

Marites, I'd been to Bukidnon but only once. It was a short stay-in and never got the chance of seeing the place inland. The only feature I saw there was the Pineapple plantation by plane.

These photographs are great awakening and enlightening for someone like me. Thank you so much for your innovative postings.

Our country is truly marvellous just like in all other countries. How precious our great Maker indeed for all His wonderful creation.

Being far away home, I must admit, I get lost track about our country. From all the postings by fellow expatriates, I can see how some fortunate parts of my native land are progressing and showing signs of prosperity. Davao has always been known to be the most progressive region in Mindanao. The best part is, it's highly renown for its exquisite Orchids.

Kathy, I love the design of your page. The title page alone is elegant. Kudos to your designer because I love the calligraphic writing; I was wondering how did you do it. Blogger's designs do not have that kind of font.

Don't worry about the muddy water. It's part of our eco system. It has its own purpose. The sea gulls don't (didn't) mind. In my country, if the sea meeting the delta of the river turns muddy, it means we have to beware: the Croc is there. And it's fun being chase by them, I can tell you. It gives our little feet strength and endurance for stress. lol.
