What You Believe Is by Pacey

Blog Name: Soul Pacifier
Origin: Philippines
Date: June 22, 2009
Subject: We create our own beliefs. We create our own reality. We do this with our thoughts. We choose what to think, because what we think takes form, eventually. What we believe, becomes, and is.

How could have our thoughts paralleled in this manner? Just today, as I was preparing things ready for this big Sunday event of my daughter's wedding; along came a proposal from my friend about us going into business partnership. Apart from working for people before, I have no personal experience running a business on my own which I do have a lot to learn, since we are in a country with a different set of rules. Anyhow, Yes, I was talking to myself that it's about time I must listen to my inner voice, what my heart dictates, how I feel, what I believe, and to have that confidence of I CAN DO IT attitude. I don't want my AGE to get in the way. I still have strength and force left with me and certainly I want to spend the remaining of my life in a positive way and to serve it with a good purpose. Other than talking to myself, I also direct my personal conversation to HIM above that He is the ultimate Guidance Counsellor I could turn to. No One Else! Friends? They are there when they needed you. No doubt about that. When you need them? That requires one million contemplation and meditation and before long, you and I already know the answer. Here's my personal quote about life: "Life is a galaxy of questions. What is there to prove that reality cannot even fathom to demonstrate? Yet, in our quest of being loved and wanted and needed, there is only one source of Power that provides us strength and boosts our confidence. And that comes from the One who alone can inspire our heart and make life worth living."~@lcd, 18 April 2009. Our thoughts? The Bible says: "Out from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." So for what we think, we need to guard it too. There are some helpful sayings you may find here: Adage, Maxim and Quote

Great work of arts!

The agenda you are pressing is quite real. But I think most people are too busy thinking more of their problem, the hardship, the struggle, the battle of poverty to which they are more obsessed with than watching and admiring what Nature has placed there for them as worry Absorber.

Perhaps I am just one lucky girl to be taught by a mother to appreciate beauty of nature at an early age.

You are an artist ruled by your own artistic emotion that many do not have.

I admire you and your gifts.

You sound a brilliant, loving and very much a family man. A man who values his honour, and who upholds the name of his own father with valour. Something of a Pride, a Heritage that makes your own trademark.

My eyes are misty reading your blog. I am so touched and emotional by the powerful message you bring forth to this blog.

Matthew, along with your Crown Jewels, will no doubt inherit that strength coming from you. They will espouse your Family Values.

You are an excellent partner to your proverbial woman. She is so proud of you, very very proud of you.

The WORLD needs a MAN like you. The children of the World needs a FATHER like you.

One who never withhold his feelings, his own emotion, his love, his affection, his duty towards his wife, his children, his family and I have no doubt to his community, to his fellowmen, to his country and above all to his GOD.

Kudos! And may you live a long life to be the God-mold Father of your children you are.

Happy Father's Day!

(Father's Day in Australia is First Sunday of September).

By the way, here's something for you:

Good neighbours are there for each other. I wish George a speedy recovery.

Next time, George accidentally gets a cut, tell him to prepare a charcoal. Pulverize it and sprinkle around the cut to stop the bleeding. This is only an emergency measure.

Lovely flowers from George and Vera. And lovely shots by you too. Hi to your wife as well!

Hi Floreta,

Such a beautiful floral name. Your skies are looking down in tranquility to watch those yachts and boats mooring quietly. They look even more vast and endless as you sail along on the water. Along comes the feel of the breeze and the salty tingling sensation. Hmmmm brings back some good memories of my sea travels. Good and bad but the Good experience stays.

Thanks for the visit.

Your Old Railroad Track brings back memory of a once upon a time country town life in Orange...where we fetched our drinking water from a Rain Water Tank up in Borenore by the old railroad track. It's both a happy and sad memory.

Yes, the cake shop sign does look cool!

In 2005, my friend from Raleigh took me to Charlotte. We stopped by at a Cake Shop to buy something for the church afternoon snack which we usually do for fellowship after the service.

The shop was closing for it only operated half a day that day!

Guess what? I virtually bought everything for half the price and the owner gave us lots of goodies for free!

How happy I was! And the brethren were all happy to have them all!

Very cheap!!!!

The hearts that freely give, the beautiful mind that think pleasant thoughts to people they care and love, a kind smile that you cause people's life to light and a comforting, assuring words you say to those who are sad and lonely and forlorn.

All these simple ordinary qualities that your pictures convey. Now these come from my heart and with sincerity.

Hi Gemma, love your seasonal quote. First one I read was Autumn; now it's about Winter. Great thoughts to ponder. We are now into the winter chills without a heater in my wee home.

Anyway, I love the effect of the last sun effect on the afternoon clouds, the Prism of twilight beauty!

Gud' day from Sydney!

Story Line: Time really run out so fast it seems that it was just yesterday ...

My girls need your kind of a brother. I should have borrowed you long time ago. But then I have no blogspot in those time. Maybe we should turn back the clock indeed!

Seriously, I feel the same way towards my daughter. The best memories were when they were little. I miss those days when they write me love letters with ending I love you very much Mom. Those days when they picked wild flowers they saw on the road, placed them in a small vase, put them on the table and Surprise!

Those days where I kissed them when they were sick and they instantly felt well. Hugged them when they needed comfort... ahhhh memories ... memories... beautiful memories...

Such is life.

A Thank You and other things

Blog Name: That British Woman

Subject: A thank you and other things

I know I don't say this often enough to you all but I truly do appreciate the time you take out of your day to pop by and read my little old blog. For those of you who comment, an extra thank you.

Guess what Lady? I am very happy and honoured to be the first to read your blog rather the first to comment. Sounds like a country life makes you happier. It's only in the beginning that dust are easily visible. But to the people who would come and say hello to you, they are invisible.

I prefer wooden floors to carpeted floors. Just mop out with old soft clothes using your feet and all is well with you. A healthy exercise for you as well. Good to stimulate your circulation.

As to internet, am using flat rate broadband service. That way, I don't have to worry about the bills.

Rhubarb? Hmmm love rhubarb just by itself. Boiled with ground cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, sugar to sweeten with a bit of butter and serve with vanilla icecream.

I also love your new header. Very green countryside.

Cheers from the land down under!

Thistles and dandelions, in Australia a plenty. Don't worry about it. Part of country practice. lol.

As to writing letters, I used to write the whole world letters everyday. My mother complained. What for? For the postage expense of course.

I have boxes after boxes of them because I keep them all even the cards. Some are in my scrap books and when internet took charge, I hardly have time to go over my junk to sort them and still refused to throw them away.

About the bills? I learned something from Ophrah Winfrey Show.
Unplug all electrical gadgets when not in use. I believe it's working. Besides putting away each fortnight towards my bill, my electrical wattage is really minimal. I don't use TV much, I rarely cook because I'm alone. I cooked once in every two days and just reheat when needed otherwise the extra is kept in the freezer, so that's another energy saver.

I write to few people I knew from the internet and it's rewarding to get fresh handwritten letters.

Cheers!

I have already posted your link to my blob comments. You may like giving it a peek. Thanks.

Mt. Kinabalu by Vicki

Look Vicky, they are all beautiful! Do you know that I collect postcards and stamps too? Do you mind if we can send stamps and postcards with one another? I suppose that is the only way to have it? My girls said, "more junk!" But, they just did not realize it, so I leave them saying that.

I used to have a very old collection of Philippines stamps dated back in 1700-1800? They were not originally mine. I found them in an old abandoned dilapidated house in the neighbourhood. So I thought it was my luck!

Because of our nomadic way of life, I lost a lot of my personal treasure that I had accumulated over the years since I was very young.

I don't know if my girls will really take my collections with importance. If they don't, I'm still eyeing of an organization who can make good use of them.

Very beautiful. I love those clouds nestling through the cleavage of the mountains. Amazing view!

Last week I saw this beautiful sunset on the river Elbe in Hamburg. The sky had really nice colors and calm sea . Great to relax after a busy day .

Been to Hamburg once and had a Ferris Wheel Ride. Couldn't take a photo because I had to hold my little children who were with me.

Nice cloudy sky still ... thanks for bringing me that memory. I immensely enjoyed Germany.

Anyway,

Thanks for leaving kind comment at Skywatch Friday #47.
